How I approach problems
A method I repeat
The same five steps in every piece of work, from a thesis to a production line.
-
1
Understand
Define the problem, its constraints and what a good result looks like.
-
2
Structure
Organize requirements, data and drawings so nothing is ambiguous.
-
3
Model
Build the CAD model, the spreadsheet or the analysis.
-
4
Verify
Check results against standards, tolerances and measurements.
-
5
Document
Write it up clearly so others can reproduce and use it.

FAQ
Quick answers
Can’t find your answer? Send me a message.
What is your background?
I am a mechanical engineer with an MSc in Engineering Management from De Montfort University (graduated with Merit, dissertation awarded a Distinction) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Selcuk University (GPA 3.08/4.0). I completed four engineering internships in aerospace, heavy manufacturing, stamping and appliance quality.
What are you looking for?
I am looking for mechanical design, quality, manufacturing, supply chain or project engineering roles, and I am open to remote work. I also take on freelance projects. Use the contact form and choose “Job Opportunity” for a role or “Project Proposal” for freelance work, or request my resume.
Do you need visa sponsorship?
No. I am a US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) and I am authorized to work in the United States.
How do you work in a team?
I worked in a five-person graduation project and inside design, quality and project teams during four internships. I share progress early, document clearly and ask when something is unclear.
Which tools do you use?
SolidWorks, CATIA V5, Siemens NX, AutoCAD and Fusion 360 for design; Enovia PLM and SAP ERP for product data; MS Project for scheduling; Excel for BOMs, SPC data and analysis; and Python and AI coding tools for automation and software.
How strong are you in each skill?
The skill matrix gives a level for every skill and what it is based on, so training, internship work and research are kept apart.
Can I see examples of your work?
Yes, the Projects page has an MSc life cycle assessment, a graduation project and four internship case studies. Employer and client details are left out on purpose.
Where are you based?
I live in Seattle, WA, USA, and I was born in Eskişehir, Türkiye. I am open to remote work.
Open to roles and freelance work
Mechanical design, quality, manufacturing, supply chain and project engineering. Remote roles and freelance projects are welcome, and I do not need visa sponsorship. Send me a message or request my resume.
